The 15&U & 17&U Female National State Championships will kick start the national water polo events for the
2022-23 season.

15 & U: Dasha Osadchuk, Mermaids Water Polo Club. Another Australia Cadet team player. Dasha is formidable in goals and was part of the Cadet team that travelled to New Zealand and finished 2nd at the U18 championships.
15 & U: Sofia Brodie, Mermaids Water Polo Club. Another member of the Australian Cadet team that finished 4th at the worlds. Sofia is a fast and agile player and part of the state team leadership group.
15 & U: Jazmyn Green, Mermaids Water Polo Club. Jazmyn is another talented player moving through the ranks and a leading centre forward.
17 & U: Annabel Cowan, Mermaids Water Polo Club. A goalie who has turned plenty of heads. Annabel was part of the Australian youth team that placed sixth at the world championships.
17 & U: Chelsea Johnson, Mermaids Water Polo Club. Part of the broader Australian youth squad. Chelsea is also the Queensland state team captain and one of the top centre backs.
17 & U: Louisa Downes, Mermaids Water Polo Club. Another member of the Australian youth team. Louisa is a fast goal scoring athlete.
17 & U: Taafili Taoso, Mermaids Water Polo Club. A member of the Australian youth team and one of the top centre forwards in her age
