TEAM Mermaids & Mantas,

I would like to congratulate all our players, coaches & managers on a very successful Queensland State Titles.

We won 5 top-division titles and finished in the top three in the remaining three divisions, which is an outstanding achievement. Our second-division teams also performed exceptionally well—playing great water polo, learning a lot, and most importantly, enjoying the experience.

To top it off, Mermaids Water Polo has been awarded Best Junior Club for the fifth year in a row, which is a tremendous reflection of the culture and standards we continue to build.

I would also like to sincerely thank our parents for their ongoing support—it plays a huge role in our success.

Now, our focus turns to AYC. It’s time to train hard, stay focused on improvement, and prepare ourselves to give every age group a great chance of winning a National Championship.

Well done to everyone involved—let’s keep pushing forward.
