Just wanted to update everyone on what is ahead for Mermaids and Mantas. The calendar has been made, and we are just waiting for a few details before we upload it onto the website. However, in the meantime, below are the important dates for this upcoming 2025/26 water polo season.

On top of the dates below, please also keep in mind with the Queensland State Titles being in January, Mermaids and Mantas will be sending club teams to the NSW State Championship which are being held in early December (1st to 11th TBC), in preparation for our own State Titles. Please keep your eyes open for the EOIs, but initial thoughts are we will send 14&U and 16&U boys teams and 14&U, 16&U and 18&U girls teams.

Important Calendar Dates:
- 14th of July: Term 3 Training Starts (for 6 weeks) (Including New to Water Polo)
- 24th of Aug: Mini Mermaids & Mighty Mantas Starts (4 weeks)
- 25th of Aug: BMJC Trials Start (for 3 weeks)
- 11th of Oct: BMJC Starts (TBC)
- 10th of Dec: Australian Cup Starts
- 12th of Jan: 14&U & 18&U Qld State Titles Start
- 17th of Jan: 12&U & 16&U Qld State Titles Start
- 8th of April: 14&U & 18&U AYC Starts
- 14th of April: 12&U & 16&U AYC Starts

More specifically, Term 3 Trainings will be as follows:

o 6:00-7:30pm 16&U & 18&U Girls
- Tuesday
o 6:00-8:00pm 16&U & 18&U Boys + Masters
- Wednesday
o 6:00-7:30pm 12&U Girls and Boys & Senior Women (PL and PLR 25/26 season)
- Thursday
o 6:00-7:30pm 14&U Girls and Boys
- Sunday
o 7:00-8:00am Masters
o 8:00-9:00am New to Water Polo & 12&U Boys
o 9:00-10:00am 12&U Girls
o 10:00-11:00am 14&U Girls and Boys
o 11:00-12:00pm 16&U & 18&U Boys and Girls
- Swimming
o Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 5:30-7:00am

Price Cost Break Down:
- 10 Week Swimming Program
o 1 session / week – $150
o 2 sessions / week – $240
o 3 sessions / week – $ 300
- 6 Week Water Polo Training Programs
o 1 session / week – $130
o 2 sessions /week – $170
- 3 Week Trials Program
o $60 per player
- 6 Week New to Water Polo Training
o 1 Session / week – $80
