Dear Parents,

Mermaids Water Polo Inc (Mermaids and Mantas) is now a registered provider under the Queensland Government’s FairPlay Initiative.  FairPlay offers parents, carers, and guardians the chance to obtain a voucher worth up to $200 for their child, which can be put towards the costs of sport and active recreation memberships, registrations, or participation fees. The current round of vouchers is set to expire on June 30, 2025.  These vouchers are not means tested and available to anyone who has a Medicare card.


Now that Trials have begun, you are able to apply your voucher to your Childs 2024/25 Season Fees during the online Registration process.  Detail of this will be published when teams are finalised and Registration is open.  Please keep your Voucher until that time (please do not email to us yet).
