Parents/Guardians/Child Access

Hi all, a quick update on Access within the Team App.

Access Groups control what information you see and what communication you receive. It is very important this is correct in your Settings.

PARENTS – No need to request access to your child’s age group. That has been pre-populated and is granted to you based on your child’s access (their teams) and your original contact email. It is key to check you have all Children assigned and have inherited their team. Note, only one primary parent was loaded initially. However, many Parents/Guardians/Others can be added (see below).

If you are ‘missing’ a child, simply go to SETTINGS (cog wheel top right from the Mermaids TEAM App Home Screen), scroll to MEMBERSHIP and select Access Groups. Choose Parent/Guardian/Child and follow the prompts. Approval will be granted based on details you provide.

GUARDIANS/OTHER FAMILY/FRIENDS –
You can have many people linked to your children. Have them download the Stack Team App and Sign-up with their own email address. Next, ‘Find’ our ‘Mermaids Water Polo’ Club and simply add the child you are wanting to follow (as per steps above) and you will get their access group. IE, you will get targeted communication.

Teams – The Teams icon is updated if there is a Team change. No need to do any updates or requests for access. It is all done for you ✅. The Team Icon will keep you up to date with Live Schedules and Live Standings from BWPI, WPQ, WPA, etc depending on the competition and team.

Lastly,

To add your child’s email, from the Mermaids Home Screen, click the SETTINGS icon top right (cog wheel), scroll down to the section called ‘My Children’, click on the Child you want to update, then ✍️ and update their email address. Easy! They can then login with that email and check the game times, chat, events and news on their own! Fun? Oh yes!
